DHI - Hair - Transplantation
DHI is often confused with FUE, but the procedure works fundamentally differently. Here, your doctor removes individual hairs with an implantation pen and reinserts them directly into the desired locations. During the operation, pens of different sizes and designs are used to transplant hair roots of different sizes. During the procedure, you as the patient are sedated to reduce your sensitivity to pain. The advantages of the DHI procedure are basically the same as those offered by the FUE method, but in an enhanced form. DHI is considered to be even gentler on your scalp and has a faster regeneration time. The success rate here is also over 90%. A special advantage, which is decisive in some cases, is that not only your own hair, but also biofibers can be used if your own body does not provide enough suitable donor hair.
