FAQ

  • Which clinic is the right one?

The Anatolia Hairclinic (formerly Istanbul Hairlab) is one of the top addresses. Our clients and their satisfaction speak for themselves. We offer services that others don't and you almost feel like you're on an all-inclusive vacation. There are "almost" no worry lines with us. Of course, there are other good addresses too. You should do it where you feel comfortable and are treated well.

  • What is the best time for a hair transplant?

Only you can decide! An operation can be carried out on both young and older clients. You alone decide when to take this important step.

  • What is a FUT transplant?

During a hair transplant, hair roots (grafts) are taken from the hairline donor area, i.e. the lower part of the head, and reinserted in the tonsure area. After a successful transplant, these remain for life and form new hair. In contrast to the older FUT method, which we no longer use, we use the FUE technique. Here, up to 5,000 grafts are taken directly from the hairline area under local anesthesia - without an incision and therefore without permanent scars. Furthermore, due to the minimally invasive procedure, no relevant complications are to be expected - provided the care and behavior instructions are followed. The transplanted hairs experience an oxygen shock during the treatment, which is why the transplanted hairs initially fall out. This is completely normal and not a cause for concern. After three months, the transplanted grafts begin to form new hair, and an aesthetically pleasing result can be expected after 6 months. The final result can be assessed after around 12 months.

  • Will I feel anything during the operation?

Proper communication with the team is important here. You feel something, but you don't feel any pain because of the anesthesia. There is a "tugging" and "pinching" sensation during the anesthesia, but there is no anesthesia. Most clients even sleep a little during the operation.

  • Does the numbness in the head last all day?

The numbness is greatest on the day of surgery and lasts for at least 2-3 days afterwards.

  • Are there any risks?

With proper advice and treatment, there are no risks. The medical team evaluates each client and procedure separately. If blood pressure is too high, for example, no medication is used and no surgery is performed.

  • From what length can hair be transplanted?

You should not cut your hair before you arrive. On the day of the treatment, the lines will be marked and the hair will then be cut to a minimum. In principle, it can be said that a transplant is possible if the hair is longer than 0.

  • Is the first hair loss sudden?

  • Do I have time to see the city?

As a rule, on the day of the operation you will receive a half bandage to protect the area where the graft was removed. 1-2 hours after the operation you will be able to move around freely, taking into account the doctor's instructions. On the second day, after the follow-up examination, you can go on a trip to the market or other sights.
